Steam Exceeds 7 Million Concurrent Users

Recently, Valve’s digital distribution platform Steam passed a new milestone of 7 million concurrent users (peaking at 7,190,578 people logged into Steam at the one time.), which is up from last years peak of about 6,046,314 people which was recorded around the same time. Valve’s recent reports on total Steam account registrations was clocked at a crazy 65 million, up from last years count of 50 million which was also recorded around the same time.

15 million new accounts in a year! That’s crazy!

If that’s not crazy enough for you then jump over to this site, and all hail Lord Gaben (you’ll know what I mean when you get there).
